Hello, my name is Adwoa Osei-Yeboah. I am a Data enthusiast and a Business Analytics graduate (MSc) with a concentration in Data Science and Machine Learning. I am an Analyst, Learning and Development Specialist at Analog Device Inc. And currently a Data Science Graduate student at NorthCentral University.
Data Knowlege, Skills & Expertise
As a Data Scientist & Analyst, I have carried out research work in Data Scinece, Data Mining, Machine Learning, and Time Series analysis. I am proficient in Data technology stacks like Python, Shell, R, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, KNIME, SAS Enterprise Miner, Google colab, and Jupyter Notebook. I have expertise and knowledge in Business Intelligence, Database Management Systems, Data Engineering, Data Ethics, Data Governance, Data Democratization, and Big Data Development.
Machine Learning Research Assistant
(Deep Learning: Image Classification / Convolutional Neural Network)
As a Machine Learning research assistnat at Bentley University, I carried out deep learning research on image classification using Keras, Tensorflow, Numpy and Matplotlib libraries. A prediction of image categories was explored. An investigation of the models were done to understand what model was best in training the dataset, and why the model predicted what it predicted. Model zoos were explored and trained in the above mentioned libraries. Class activation maps were created to compare orginal images with thier generated heatmaps.
Transfer learning was done with Keras as new pretrained models were adopted to new tasks. To promote higher accuracy, fine tuning was carried out as well. A shallow dive was made into Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN). Data was converted into a set of discernible features before adding a classification algorithm to classify them. Image clusters were visualized with t-SNE. PCA was performed over the features but the data had to be split in half before carrying out the analysis for speed and clarity. The generated t-SNE results were then plotted in a scatter plot.
Analyst, Program Management
Over the past 6 years, I have worked in People Development & Analytics. I have program managed several projects within private sector, non-for-profit and a technological organization. Some of the organizations I collaborated with whilst working on several projects at the British Council included UK Sports, UNCEF (Ghana), British High Commission (Ghana), and the Ministry of Education (Ghana). I have hosted and moderated webinars for +1000 Analog Device Inc. engineers in MatLab and Simulink Tools training.
Analyst, Learning & Development Specialist
I have worked with technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in Software, Data Science, and Design Verification to design and developed technical training programs for ADI engineering community. Examples of these technical trainings that have been launched include Software Reskilling Program, Python Training, Data Science Program with Data Engineering track, and Data Analytics tracks. As a Program Manager at the British Council, soft skills, management and leadership training programs were also designed and customized for our corporate clients.
Deployment, Monitoring & Evaluation Analyst
I have met with Human Resource Business Partners, Managers and Directors to carry out needs analysis of thier Business Unit. Assessment of the skills gap of employees are made to gather insights on current skills and what new skills are needed to accomplish the strategic goal for the Business Unit. These insights aids managers and directors to accomplish future projects in a timely manner.
During the deployement of training programs, I serve as a navigator to the learners enrolled in a technical training program like Data Science. I guide them through the entire duration of program from launch date of the courses to the final course debriefing. I provide an awesome learning experience for the learners to promote higher completion rate of the program.

Research Work
Big Data and Cloud Computing
Introduction
In prescribing a Big Data Analytics Process using Cloud Computing, we will explore these applications and processes for retail enterprises. The use case scenario of the retailer requires an analysis process to produce insights using big data this retailer produces.
Big Data Ethics & Development
Introduction
Various Lenses will be used to Understand Big Data Ethics in this research work whilst interpreting the implication of Big Data Ethics. This study focuses on the key constructs of big data ethics and a diverse set of topics related to different perspectives.
Business Intelligence
Analytics Horsepower
For this paper, the database designed from the previous study using MySQL Workbench would be used to describe and reflect upon the work in a paper that describes the process for developing insights from the data.
Data Curation Tools/Techniques
Introduction
Data curation is a process of collecting, munging, and storing data in a database system. Lord and Macdonald (2003) describe data curation to be a process of managing digital data as soon as it is created, gathered, and used for analysis (Lord & Macdonald, 2003).
Data Governance / Democratization
Data Culuture
The paper will address how the data culture within the institution will be transformed to support data democratization initiatives and data governance. A data democratization plan for a hypothetical use case of the pulmonology and respiratory medicine research institution will be explored.
Data Life Cycle Evaluation
Executive Summary
The data for this research was first acquired through web scrapping, then cleaned by deleting rows of empty cells and standardizing the variables. The authors analyzed the data using unsupervised learning methods for data exploration.
Data Optimization For Data Analysis
Business Need
Electronic commerce (e-commerce) essentially involves buying or selling products online or over the Internet. Online stores such as Amazon, eBay, Shopify, or Olist are some forms of e-commerce websites that will be explored in this paper.
Developing A Research Plan
Need For Study
The real estate market can be described briefly as the business sector that deals with housing. It could be residential, commercial, or industrial (Benefield & Hardin, 2013). Among these, residential housing is well-known to people, especially in the US.
